(FAQ) Game Rules – 14.1 Continuous
These sequence of “Sport Guidelines’ present guidelines of many alternative video games for the pool desk. The principles right here have been simplified from the official variations – to make them just a little simpler to grasp.
There are different video games which have been invented, copyrighted and customarily accessible to the enjoying public. Internet searches will flip these up and the principles printed out to be used.
14.1 Steady
The sport has been round for over a century. It was tailored from Straight Pool.
Object
Rating 150 factors for a full sport. Shortened video games can go to 50 or 75 factors.
Opponents
Two sides (gamers or doubles).
Balls
Common set of balls.
Racking
Customary random rack.
When one object ball stays on the desk, the 14 pocketed balls are racked with no apex ball and sport continues. If object ball is throughout the rack, it’s included. If cue ball is throughout the rack it’s performed from the kitchen.
Breaking
Preliminary breaker decided by native guidelines (coin, lag, card draw, and many others.)
Breaker can name a ball and pocket.
Authorized break is cue ball contacts the rack after which a rail plus two object balls contact the rail. (Failure is a two level penalty.)
If no authorized break, incoming participant can request a re-rack and re-break or settle for the desk structure.
Common play
Name ball and pocket.
Every ball counts as 1 level.
Extra balls pocketed on a profitable name are counted.
Participant’s flip ends on a miss or foul.
Illegally pocketed balls are noticed with no penalty.
Cue ball is all the time performed from its desk place.
Participant’s rating can goes detrimental on penalties. (Choice: rating goes to zero and any penalty factors added to opponent’s rating.)
Security/defensive play
On a security name, if a ball is pocketed, it stays down. Inning ends. No rating for that ball.
Fouls
These fouls have 1 level penalties and lack of flip. (Non-obligatory: Three foul rule applies.)
- No authorized hit
- Object ball off the desk
- Cue ball scratch (incoming participant has ball in hand within the kitchen)
- Unlawful ball touching (elective – moved balls could be changed with opponent’s approval and play continues with no penalty)
